    You can also place a fiducials outside the PCB, if the PCB is extremely crowded and it is supposed to be punched out of panel after assembly.

    Why fiducial does not have a cutout for the polygon? Should be free not only from the mask. Why every time to write a rule for a given class of components (fiducial)?

    Robert, what about local fiducials? I think they are recommended for large components with many pins and BGA's. I didn't see them on the i.MX6 Rex board. What's your take on those?
