This NOS Technics RS-DC10 was serviced with new SMD capacitors after 26 years, but before ever plugging it in.

First generation DCC Players, like the Philips 900, Marantz DD82 and DD92 the Optimus DCT2000 and Technics RS-DC10 all need to have their smd capacitors replaced. In this video we will show you we do this at the museum.

These are the values for the capacitors.

2,2µF/35V/BP - 1 - Nichicon UMP1V2R2MDD
4,7µF/16V/BP - 2 - Nichicon UMP1C4R7MDD
10µF/16V - 9 - Nichicon UMV1C100MFD
22µF/6V3 - 1 - Nichicon UMV0J220MFD

    The one thing that dissuaded me from getting a DCC deck was that they were so HUGE! Minidisc avoided that somehow!

    How old is this deck? It looks like brand new equipment made in this year.
