    One transistor, im supprised it works :-), i too have looked at his site, a very inventive and clever man :-D.
    How bad is the loaded to un loaded state? 11-15v perhaps?.
    Add some input filtering from an old switchmode and dump it in an earthed diecast box, that should Help with the emissions.

    Nice! I am always finding transistor E13007 in TO-220 when I tear down old PC supplies. Is this TO-92 related to it? Cause I have lots of those just doing nothing.. Also for 120v mains in North America, should we just wind half the number of turns?

    hi jhonny, how do you calculate the transformer turns and also size of it for your smps circuits…..
