DERB - Sencore FE-14 - Replacing transistors

Got the 2 jfet transistors replaced and did some testing with less than stellar results. One problem fixed, but now there is another problem. 🙁

So far so good. You will find the other problems. I have a copy of the manual if you need it. I can scan it and get it to you if you like. Merry Christmas friend.

Nice fix on the FETs, the camera boom is working out real good.
I am sure you will find the problem why the OHMS range is not working.
    Merry Christmas

Step by step, inch by inch…
    first, meter movement good,
next transistors good, but recheck and confirm pinouts,
oh another thing, on mine, wasn't sure about C battery polarity?
(no minus – spring and no markings if I recall, but maybe red wire),
next contact cleaner, helped a lot,
next any possible SHORTS? (caps, diodes, bridged connections on PCB, switches, wires)?

Hey nice intro Doug. Never quite got the hang of putting intros in my videos guess im just lazy. So DC volts worths fine but Ohms and AC volts don't . Hmm another puzzle to solve. so back to troubleshooting caps or resistors shorted possibly.
