C64 Hardware - C64 complete rework - SMD, Add-ons, Case mod, LED

This is a presentation of a project I have done for a friend. I reworked the whole 469 board with SMD components and new capacitors, added a stereo SID mod, modulator replacement and a few more add-ons.
All is fitted in a nice transparent case with some nice LED lighting.

Do not worry about it (dislikes), right now, your youtube chanel is one of the most interesting about the C64 modding, games, repairing … at this time on the youtube. Period.

Fantastic work, great video, thanks for sharing! Which A/V adapter are you using? It looks interesting too. And did you change something to chroma like with chromafix to enhance the video output? It looks very good, nice and clean.

Ich würde ja gerne etwas von Henning kaufen, aber er meldet sich seit Oktober 2018 nicht mehr (bei mir)..

Outstanding work! Don't worry about the dislikes. Remember the old adage… Those who can, do. Those who can't, complain. I'm going to use your videos as my guide in rebuilding two Commodore 64s I just picked up.

That is f**ing awesome. Your technical skills are amazing and it looks fantastic.
I think the armsid has an api like interface that can be utilized. Sourcing the kits you showed is an issue, but I have managed to get armsid, swinsid, keyman an the other components by asking on forum64, lemon64, amibay and eBay. Keep up the amazing work.
Next time there is a project on forum64 – give a heads up so we can contribute by buying the kits.

What a beautiful machine! Nicely done! I wonder how people would've reacted if you somehow could take this back to 1982 when the C64 launched and showcased all the modifications? 😀

I found your channel a few days ago and have subbed. Very nice and neat job you have done there. People don't always understand just how much time it takes to route and place cables in a neat and tidy manner.

Nice video again. It is a pitty that I can't find out where to buy (or how to build) for example the super kernal.
