The screeching sound is the TDA2009A when connected to a high impedance input – it doesn't like it. Phones save power by switching off their audio output sections which leaves outputs floating at high impedance. Once the phone is pushing out a signal the TDA2009 will be stable.

bla bla bla, then a big cut and magic you don't show how the pieces are assembled, the relation between each other, how are soldered. it would have been good video.

Used the TDA2009A quite some years ago, and it is pretty reasonable in terms of sound quality, and also has some power. Even made an amplifier around it, that also used a LM1036 for volume, balance and tone control. It was capable of driving 4? loads with ease. Unfortunately, it is now obsolete.

I'm an auto mechanic and I know he didn't discharge it properly. Also can't hear him, bad audio therefore I wonder if he knows what he's doing. Click

There's a WAY easier option than all of the work that this method requires. I've created a system that yields better results with minimal tools, and no torch either. Just follow these steps:
    1) Take your broken TV….
    2) Carry it outside….
    3) Place said broken TV into the trash receptacle….
    4) After disposal of TV, head towards your local music store, ie- Guitar Center, Sam Ash, etc….
    5) Upon arrival of local music store, find the "Amplification" section and pick out desired amp..
    6) Purchase item….
    7) Take chosen amp home and plug into wall and guitar….
    8) Rock out with your cock out.

Holy s*** dude! You are lucky you're still alive. You can easily be killed by the amount of amps you get shocked with from a television coil. Handing out this kind of Miss information is an absolute ridiculous liability.

Put a ground clip on that screw driver and to the chassis then as you pop off the HV cap you will aso discharge the 2nd anode safely.

I don’t think I need to read the comments to know how many people are screaming at the screen right now. Please do not attempt to discharge the flyback lead. Lol. Search for a video showing how to actually discharge the picture tube. Now he is using a torch to remove components. Lol !!! Moving on.

If you were to place a 0.100uf cap on the output to ground you filter all unwanted sound. Basically you amp here is oscillating. Hence the nasty sound.

    Good work.

You'll need to add a heat sink to that chip if you don't want to burn it out. It might not have had one in the TV, but from experience those chips get hot fast.

For those who simply emulate what you see without considering safety and practicality, dont risk your health and safety for something you dont need. Go to Goodwill grab yourself some $5 Altec Lansing computer speakers with a subwoofer volume in your phone or your iPod or your Bluetooth headphone amp which is ideal interns any speakers into Bluetooth speakers and I assure you you will never regret spending a few bucks at Goodwill for Altec Lansing computer speakers for Boston Acoustics makes amazing micro Satellites with a sub. Pretty much anything with a recognizable name such as Yamaha JBL Altech Boston Acoustics Cambridge Soundworks Etc get yourself a $6 Bluetooth headphone adapter and I guarantee $11 you spend will sound a hundred dollars better and the JBL Flip and even some of the Beats products out there

Its time to remove some components… Proceeds to grab blowtorch… WOW
Back in the day (dating myself) I use to work on Macintosh computers and I learned my CRT lesson. NOTHING will wake you up quicker than that, or put you permanently to sleep.
